Scholarships

The AADE Central Texas Chapter is proud to support the next generation of leaders. We believe in investing in students who demonstrate character, commitment, and a strong work ethic – both inside and outside the classroom. Please carefully review the eligibility requirements and application instructions below. We look forward to reviewing your application.
Purpose
To provide financial assistance to qualified students pursuing higher education.
Important Dates
• Application Deadline: April 15, 2026 at 5:00 PM (No Exceptions)
• Notification of Award Status: By May 15, 2026
Award Information
Each year, the Central Texas AADE awards scholarships to as many qualified applicants as funding allows.
• Award amounts range from $500-$1250 per semester, based on grade classification
• Scholarships are renewable each semester, provided the recipient continues to meet all eligibility requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
1. Be a graduating high school senior or a current undergraduate college student from the Central Texas area.
2. Demonstrate a proven record of community involvement
3. Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
4. Be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident (with valid permanent resident documentation).
5. Maintain a minimum course load of 12 credit hours per semester.

Application Requirements
All applicants must submit the following items:
1. Completed application form
2. Three (3) letters of recommendation (character references only; relatives are not permitted).
3. A copy of the most recent transcript showing cumulative GPA.
4. Personal essay
a. Topic: What motivates you when no one is watching?
b. Maximum length: Two (2) pages
5. Agreement to participate in an interview with the selection committee.
